What is SAWDAC Window Wise?
Window Wise is an independent quality assurance program that audits installation practices. It's not just a logo — it's proof that every installation follows a documented, tested standard.
A premium window installed poorly can fail early. A solid installation protects your wall system, your comfort, and your warranty. Certification means we don't just say we're good — we prove it.
The 5 Non-Negotiables
Written in buyer language on purpose. You don't need to memorize building science — just hire the team that follows it.
White-Glove Site Protection
Protection first, demo second. Full coverage for floors, walls, furniture, and appliances before any work begins.
No-Rot Tear-Out & Repair
A new window can't fix a rotten opening. We inspect and repair to solid material before installing.
Dry-Home Waterproofing
Sealant is not a waterproofing strategy. Good installs manage water with layers and drainage paths.
Forever-Smooth Alignment
Windows move with temperature. If fastened wrong, frames distort — causing sticking and drafts later.
Energy Seal (Air-Seal + Insulation)
Glass specs matter, but a drafty perimeter gap will bully your comfort and your heating bill.

What Proper Installation Prevents
Rot Behind the Trim
Hidden moisture damage in framing is the #1 problem with poor installations. We inspect down to solid wood before your new window goes in.
Leaks in Freeze-Thaw
Calgary's freeze-thaw cycles are brutal on sealant-only waterproofing. Our dual-seal drainage system manages water even when temperatures swing 30° in one day.
Drafts & Sticky Windows
Poor shimming causes frame distortion. Distortion leads to windows that jam, leak air, and drive up heating bills. Proper alignment prevents all of this.
Our Crew at Work
Every installer is trained in-house to the SAWDAC standard. No subcontractors, no surprises.
Our installers are employees, not day-labor subcontractors. They go through our SAWDAC-aligned training program before they touch a customer's home.
You won't get a different random team on install day. Our crews are consistent, reliable, and know the GreenFox process by heart.
We schedule around Calgary's weather. Installations pause when temperatures drop below −15°C to protect foam expansion and caulking integrity. Your project gets the right conditions for a proper seal that lasts.
